Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, May 2022

In May 2022, the value of imports reached US$18,609.3 million, a decrease of US$1,148.1 million (5.81 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume decreased by 10.55 percent (1,616.1 thousand tons) to 13,695.9 thousand tons. The import value in May 2022 consisted of oil and gas imports of US$3,353.7 million (18.02 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$15,255.6 million (81.98 percent). Imports from January to May 2022 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD26,088.2 million (27.41 percent), followed by Singapore USD8,036.6 million (8.44 percent), and Japan USD6,941.9 million (7.29 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia
