Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, October 2021

In October 2021, the import value reached US$16,93.6 million, an increase of US$59.5 million (0.37 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume rose 3.40 percent to 14,909.3 thousand tons. The import value in October 2021 consisted of oil and gas imports of US$1,898.1 million (11.65 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$14,395.5 million (88.35 percent). Imports in October 2021 were dominated by three main origin countries, namely China USD 44,099.0 million (28.36 percent), followed by Singapore USD 12,238.6 million (7.87 percent), and Japan USD 11,821.5 million (7.60 percent). Meanwhile, the loading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main loading point for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 49.48 percent (USD 76,946.5 million).
