Abstract

In the last five years, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Indonesia showed a rapid development. ICT development indicators in Indonesia is shows that the most rapid development of ICT indicators is seen in the use of internet in the households reached 78.18 percent. The growth of internet usage in this household is also followed by the growth of population using cellular phones until 2020 reaching 62.84 percent. Ownership of computer in households in 2020 increased to 18.83 percent. The population that uses the internet has also increased during the period 2016—2020, which was demonstrated by the increasing in percentage of people who accessed the Internet in 2016 with percentage 25.37 percent to 53.73 percent in 2020. On the other hand, fixed line telephone ownership in households has been decreased from year to year, in 2016 the percentage of households that own/master the fixed-line telephone was 3.49 percent, down to 1.65 percent in 2020.
