Statistics of Marine and Coastal Resources 2020 is a publication of the BPS-Statistics Indonesiapresents data on the potential and management of marine and coastal resources. This publication presents various data and information covering pressures, conditions, impacts, and responses to problems in marine resource management and coastal area development. This year this publication discusses a topic about Climate Change in Coastal Areas. The importance of this topic is based on the relatively high risk of climate change for Indonesia as an archipelago. Communities in coastal areas who are directly affected by climate change. On the other hand, the extent of the seas and the ecosystem's existence, constitute a considerable potential for "blue carbon" if preserved. The data in this publication is the compilation of secondary data from the BPS-Statistics Indonesia and related ministries/agencies/ offices both at the central and regional levels.
