Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports March 2020

In March 2020 the value of imports reached USD13,352.2 million, up 15.62 percent (USD1,804.1 million) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume increased 10.51 percent to 14,432.2 thousand tons. The import value in March 2020 consisted of oil and gas imports of USD 1,606.5 million (12.03 percent) and non-oil and gas USD 11,745.7 million (87.97 percent).
The three main countries of origin for imports from China to January-March 2020 were USD9,086.7 million (23.20 percent), followed by Singapore with USD3,800.2 million (9.70 percent), and Japan with USD3,611.5 million ( 9.22 percent). While the unloading ports in the DKI Jakarta Province are still the main unloading places for imported goods in Indonesia with a portion of 50.40 percent (USD19,740.1 million).
