Abstract

The publication of the results of the Economic Census 2016-Continued will mainly optimize various information on economic activities that are more detailed and comprehensive in the processing industry business field. Various information from other data sources is integrated to carry out Business Competitiveness Analysis of the Manufacturing Industry. The scope of business competitiveness analysis is focused on several selected 3-digit, 4-digit and 5-digit KBLI's which are considered to be strategic or export-oriented commodities or commodity groups, such as coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate, processed foods and dishes, and others. The results of measuring the competitiveness of the business of the selected commodity of manufacturing industry provide an overview of business competitiveness indexes and their explanatory factors according to region and scale of business. The results of this study are expected to be able to contribute as consideration in policy making that is right on target.
