Series of Indices of Manufacturing Industry 2017-2019

The IBS Monthly Production Index is generated from processing the Monthly IBS Survey from which data is obtained from selected establishment companies as samples. The monthly data can be presented as a quarterly or annual index. The quarterly index is the average of the monthly index for the quarter concerned and the annual index is the average of the 4 (four) quarterly indices of the year. Quarterly and annual index figures will then be used to calculate the growth of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This publication presents the IBS production index for the period January 2018 to September 2019 based on the 2 digit Indonesian Business Field Standard (KBLI). The production index from the first quarter of 2018 to the second quarter of 2019 is a fixed number, while the third quarter of 2018 is still a temporary figure.
