Commuter Statistics of Jabodetabek 2019

One form of non-permanent mobility that is experiencing rapid development in
big cities in Indonesia are commuting. Activity commuting is inseparable from the role of commuter or "commander". Existence commuting has an impact on the development of the area of ​​origin and destination commuter, for example in terms of providing adequate transportation and Congestion problems. On that basis, it needs to be developed
data tools and monitoring systems that can act as input for compilation of policies related to commuting. One attempt to accommodate the goal is to provide data through commuter surveys. Therefore, in 2019 the Central Statistics Agency conducted a commuter survey in the Medan area, Binjai, and Deli Serdang (Mebidang) and in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta).
Based on the results of the 2019 Commuter Survey, Commuter Statistics Publications were compiled Jabodetabek. Commuter statistical data in this publication are presented in full and
easy to understand so that it is expected to meet the needs of data users Jabodetabek commuter. The data presented include the number of commuters according to
regencies / cities in the Greater Jakarta area, commuter characteristics, and house characteristics commuter stairs.
