Abstract

The government's attention to non-labor workers (self-employed workers / unemployed workers) is unlike the government's attention to workers with legal status, especially in terms of minimum wage setting. This leads to an imbalance between non-worker (self-employed / free-holder) workers' and worker's employment. The observation of the average growth of non-laborer workers' (self-employed / unemployed) workers from time to time is of interest to be presented, so as to know in which part the concentrations of workers are self-employed and free workers, and how their income levels are characterized by social and demographics. For this purpose, the Publication of Income Statistics was formulated in February 2019, which was expected to be one of the references to policy making relating to non-worker workers (self-employed workers / free workers). Information on employment earnings statistics for self-employed / unemployed workers is derived from the results of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), which is a survey specially designed to collect data that can describe the general state of employment in full. In addition to providing sustainable employment data, the specific purpose of Sakernas is to obtain information on the number of working population, unemployment, and wage / salary / income of workers, both of workers and non-workers. In accordance with the period of enumeration of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) held twice a year, the Publication of Revenue Statistics is also carried out twice a year (February and August). Publication of Revenue Statistic February 2019 is based on Sakernas data February 2019.
