2016 Advanced Economic Census Metadata

The 2016 Economic Census activity (SE2016) was carried out in stages, starting from planning and preparation activities in 2014, to the presentation and dissemination of results in 2018. In 2016, BPS carried out the 2016 Economic Census listing activities abbreviated with SE2016 listings. While the follow-up activities of SE2016 carried out in 2017 are data collection on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, SE2016 or later referred to as MSE and UMB Data Collection in 2016. SE2016 - 2017 UMK and UMB data collection is carried out in the period August - September 2017.In general, the data collection of UMK and UMB SE2016 aims to find out the profile of businesses in Indonesia that can be used as material for planning macroeconomic activities and the data produced will be used as a reference for subsequent surveys. The data collection of UMK and UMB SE2016 includes the collection and presentation of data on business activities / UMK companies and UMB in detail and up to date according to the category of business fields (not included in the field of agricultural business) at the district / city, provincial and national levels.The scope of the activity area of ​​Data Collection of UMK and UMB SE2016 was carried out in all provinces in Indonesia and included all business units / companies, both large, medium, small, and micro businesses / companies. Business / company that uses fixed or non-permanent buildings, which are within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. While its economic activities cover all categories / business fields, except agriculture, forestry and fisheries (category A), government administration, defense and compulsory social security activities (category O), and household activities as employers; activities that produce goods and services by households that are used to meet their own needs (category T).
