Abstract

AbstactConsidering the importance of the manufacturing sector contribution, particularly the small and micro manufacturing (IMK) to national GDP, an early warning indicator is needed. Indicator needed for observe growth and development of small micro manufactuirng. Production Index as indicatior of micro and small manufactuirng are generated from quarterly of micro and small manufacturing survey.The publication presents a production index of the manufacturing sector that worker of the manufacturing unit less than 20 person. Production index would describe the production growth of of IMK as earlier, therefore its periodically quarterly design. The figures presented are one of all information to assess the production growth of IMK. The publication presents the production growth of IMK for the first quarter of 2016 till the second quarter of 2018 in 2 digit of KBLI (Indonesia Standard Industrial Classification). During 2016 to 2017, the production growth of IMK in term of year on year shows a trend increasing more than 8,36 percent each year. The food manufacturing sector (KBLI 10) shows as the largest contributing industrial group to the production growth of IMK.
