Abstract

  • Based on the Natonal Labour Force Survey (Sakernas), the total labour force in February 2026 was 154.91 million people, an increase of 1.862 million people compared to February 2025. Meanwhile, the labour force partcipaton rate was 70.56 percent, declining by 0.04 percentage points compared to February 2025.
  • Compared to February 2025, the number of employed people in February 2026 rose by 1.896 million people, to 147.67 million people. Industry with the largest share of employment were Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing recorded at 42.49 million people (28.78 percent).
  • The unemployment rate in February 2026 stood at 4.68 percent, a decrease of 0.08 percentage points compared to February 2025.
  • The average wage of employees in February 2026 was 3.29 million rupiah.
