Abstract

The Indonesia’s Human Development Index (HDI) in 2025 increased compared with the previous year. All indicators that compose the HDI showed an increase.
Life expectancy at birth reached 74.47 years, an increase of 0.32 years compared with the previous year.
The Expected Years of Schooling (EYS) for the population aged 7 years and over was 13.30 years, increasing by 0.09 years compared with the previous year. Meanwhile, the Mean Years of Schooling (MYS) for the population aged 25 years and over was 9.07 years, increasing by 0.22 years compared with the previous year.
The adjusted real per capita expenditure per year, reached 12,802,000 rupiahs, an increase of 461,000 rupiahs compared with the previous year.
