Indonesia's Economic Growth in Q3-2025 was 5.04 Percent (Y-on-Y)

Abstract

  • Indonesia’s economy in  the third quarter of 2025 reached IDR6,060.0 trillion at current prices and IDR3,444.8 trillion at constant prices (2010).
  • Indonesia’s economic growth in the third quarter of 2025 grew by 1.43 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). On the production side, Electricity and Gas experienced the highest growth at 5.42 percent. Meanwhile, on the expenditure side, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth at 6.77 percent.
  • Indonesia’s economy grew by 5.04 percent in the third quarter of 2025, compared to the third quarter of 2024 (y-on-y). On the production side, Education experienced the highest growth at 10.59 percent. Meanwhile, on the expenditure side, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth at 9.91 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the Indonesia’s economy grew by 5.01 percent up to the third quarter of 2025 (c-to-c). On the production side, Other Services Activities experienced the highest growth at 10.37 percent. Meanwhile, on the expenditure side, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth at 9.13 percent.
  • In spatial terms, Indonesia’s economy in the third quarter of 2025 recorded a relatively stable growth compared to the same period last year (y-o-y). The provinces on Jawa Island remained the main driver of the national economy, contributing 56.68 percent to the national GDP and posting an economic growth rate of 5.17 percent.
