Abstract

The year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in October 2025 was 2.86 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.04. The province with the highest inflation was Sumatera Utara Province at 4.97 percent, with a CPI of 110.89, while the province with the lowest inflation was Papua Province at 0.53 percent, with a CPI of 104.69. The highest inflation by regency/municipality was in Kerinci Regency at 6.70 percent with a CPI of 113.49, while the lowest inflation was in Bandar Lampung Municipality at 0.43 percent with a CPI of 107.21. On the other hand, the deflation was in Halmahera Tengah Regency at 0.19 percent with a CPI of 107.96.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.28 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 2.10 percent in October 2025.
For the Core Component, the October 2025 y-on-y, m-to-m, and y-to-d inflation rates were 2.36 percent, 0.39 percent, and 2.01 percent, respectively.
