Abstract

  • Based on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices in the second quarter of 2025, Indonesia’s economy reached IDR5,947.0 trillion and IDR3,396.3 trillion at constant prices (2010).
  • Indonesia’s economy growth increased by 4.04 percent (q-to-q) in the second quarter of 2025, compared to the first quarter of 2025. Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing experienced the highest growth at 13.53 percent on the production side. Meanwhile, the General Government Final Consumption Expenditure (GGFCE) component experienced the highest growth at 21.05 percent on the expenditure side.
  • Indonesia’s economic growth increased by 5.12 percent (y-on-y) in the second quarter of 2025, compared to the second quarter of 2024. Other Services Activities experienced the highest growth at 11.31 percent on the production side. Meanwhile, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth at 10.67 percent on the expenditure side.
  • Indonesia’s economic growth increased by 4.99 percent (c-to-c) in the first semester of 2025, compared to the first semester of 2024. Other Services Activities experienced the highest growth at 10.59 percent on the production side. Meanwhile, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth at 8.57 percent on the expenditure side. 
  • In the second quarter of 2025, provinces on Jawa Island remained the main drivers of the Indonesian economy spatially, with a contribution of 56.94 percent to national GDP and economic growth of 5.24 percent (y-on-y).
