Abstract

In March 2025, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by
1.58 percent compared with March 2024 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The
Metal Products, Machinery, and Equipment Section experienced the most significant change, increasing by 2.61 percent.
The year-on-year price change in March 2025 was mainly due to oil palms, cooking oils, printing machines, shallots, and filtered cigarettes with cloves.
The WPI in March 2025 increased by 0.75 percent month-to-month
(m-to-m) and increased by 1.69 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in March 2025 changed by 1.00 percent
(y-on-y), partly due to the increasing prices of cement, wooden logs, asphalt, ready mix concrete, and galvanized wire for gabion.
