Abstract

In December 2024, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 1.98 percent compared with December 2023 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The Manufacturing Sector experienced the most significant change, increasing by 2.12 percent.
The year-on-year price change in December 2024 was mainly due to oil palms, palm/coconut kernel cooking oils, filtered cigarettes with cloves, coffee beans, and cacao beans.
The WPI in December 2024 increased by 0.39 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and increased by 1.98 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in December 2024 changed by 0.72 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of cement, sands, stone for construction foundations, asphalt, and floorings.
