Abstract

In April 2024, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 3.71 percent compared with April 2023 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The most significant change in the index is in the Agriculture Sector, which increased by 9.09 percent.
The year-on-year price change in April 2024 was contributed mainly by rice, dried cacao beans, filtered cigarettes with cloves, cacao beans, and gingers.
The WPI in April 2024 changed by 0.20 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and 1.86 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in April 2024 changed by 0.61 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of sands, diesel fuel, stone for construction foundations, floorings, and aggregate.
