Abstract

In September 2023, Indonesia's National Wholesale Price Index changed by 3.28 percent compared with September 2022 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The most significant change in the index is the Agriculture Sector, which increased by 5.31 percent.
The year-on-year price change in September 2023 was contributed mainly by paddies, garlic, sands, rice, and filtered cigarettes with clove.
The WPI in September 2023 changed by 0.43 percent month-to-month (m-to-m) and 2.27 percent year-to-date (y-to-d).
The WPI Construction Materials in September 2023 changed by 1.32 percent year-on-year, partly due to the increasing prices of sands, stone for construction foundations, aggregate, asphalt, and floorings.
