Producer Prices Underwent Inflation of 0.89 Percent in Quarter III-2022

Abstract

The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter III-2022 rose 0.89 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 10.68 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter III-2022 rose 0.44 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 5.78 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter III-2022 rose 2.67 percent compared to quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 53.34 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI Manufacturing Sector in quarter III-2022 rose 0.58 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 4.66 percent against quarter III- 2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter III-2022 rose 1.29 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 1.75 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter III-2022 rose 0.36 percent compared to quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.94 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter III-2022 increased by 3.93 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and rose 19.71 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter III- 2022 increased by 0.42 percent and 1.78 percent compared to quarter II- 2022 (q-to-q) and quarter III-2021 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter III-2022 rose 1.76 percent and 3.45 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter III-2021 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter III-2022 rose 0.38 percent against quarter II-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 2.04 percent against quarter III-2021 (y-on-y).
