Abstract

In October 2022, Indonesia's Nati onal Wholesale Price Index rose by 5.80 percent compared to October 2021 (year-on-year/y-on-y). The most signifi cant change in the index is the Mining and Quarrying Sector, which increased by 11.15 percent.
The price change in October 2022 was contributed mainly by purebred chicken eggs, soya beans, petrol/gasoline, diesel fuel, and fi ltered cigarett es with clove.
The WPI change in October 2022 changed by negati ve 0.05 percent month- to-month and 4.70 percent compared to December 2021 (year-to-date/y- to-d).
The WPI Constructi on Materials in October 2022 rose by 7.63 percent year-on-year, partly due to increasing the prices of diesel fuel, cement, asphalt, sands, and stone for constructi on foundati on.
