• In July 2022, the number of international visitor arrivals to Indonesia at the main entry gates was 476.97 thousand, dramatically increasing by 6,396.46 percent compared with July 2021. At the same time, international visitor arrivals in July 2022 increased by 38.08 percent compared with the previous month.
• From January to July 2022, the number of international visitor arrivals to Indonesia at the main entry gates was 1.22 million, increased by 1,434.39 percent over the same period in 2021.
• The room occupancy rate of classified hotels in July 2022 was 49.77 percent, an increase of 27.39 percentage points from July 2021. Meanwhile, the room occupancy rate in July 2022 slightly decreased by 0.51 percentage points compared with June 2022. On the other hand, the room occupancy rate of non-classified hotels in July 2022 was 24.69 percent, which increased by 9.55 percentage points from July 2021, and slightly increased by 0.77 percentage points from June 2022.
• The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at classified hotels during July 2022 was 1.61 days, decreased by 0.21 percentage points compared with July 2021. Meanwhile, the average length of stay in July 2022 had no difference with the average length of stay in June 2022.

B. Growth of National Transport

• The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in July 2022 was 5.0 million and increased by 3.27 percent compared to June 2022. The number of international air transport passengers increased by 6.57 percent to 621.3 thousand. From January to July 2022, the number of domestic air transport passengers was 29.7 million and increased by 78.42 percent. The number of international air transport passengers was 2.3 million and increased by 651.09 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
• The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in July 2022 was recorded at 1.7 million, increasing by 3.92 percent compared to June 2022. The freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by 1.95 percent, turning into 26.2 million tons. From January–July 2022, the number of domestic sea transport passengers reached 10.2 million and increased by 15.05 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Meanwhile, the amount of freight increased by 0.29 percent, reaching 182.5 million tons.
• The number of railway passengers departing in July 2022 was 25.7 million, which increased by 9.02 percent compared to June 2022. Whereas, freight transported by train increased 6.62 percent to 5.5 million tons. The number of passengers reached 142.9 million in January–July 2022 and increased by 62.97 percent compared to the same period in 2021. On the other hand, the cumulative amount of freight transported by train rose by 14.63 percent to 34.1 million tons.
