Abstract

  • „The Indonesia Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (ACBI) 2022 is 3.93 on a scale of 0 to 5. It is higher than the 2021 (3.88).
  • A value closer to 5 on the index indicates higher anti-corruption behavior, while a value closer to zero indicates higher permissiveness towards corruption among citizens.
  • The Indonesia Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (ACBI) is structured on two dimensions, namely the Perception Dimension and the Experience Dimension. The Perception Index has decreased (0.03 points) to 3.80 in 2022 from 3.83 in  2021. Instead, the Experience Index 2022 has experienced increase of 0.09 points to 3.99 this year from 3.90 last year.
  • By 2022, the ACBI of urban communities is higher (3.96) than rural communities (3.90).
  • The higher is the education level, the higher is the anti-corruption behavior. In 2022, the ACBI score is 3.87 for people with primary education (elementary school and below), 3.94 for people with secondary education (junior and senior high school), and 4.04 among those who have studied above the high school level.
