Abstract

In July 2022, the National Wholesale Price Index (WPI) Indonesia rose by 0.46 percent, primarily due to the index of Mining and Quarrying, which increased by 1.06 percent.
The price change in July 2022 was contributed mainly by red chilies, shallots, green chilies, cayennes, coals, diesel fuel, wheat flours, instant noodles, and liquid petroleum gas.
The WPI changed by 3.98 percent in the 2022 calendar year and 5.35 percent year-on-year.
The WPI of Construction Materials in July 2022 rose by 0.64 percent compared to the previous month, partly due to the increase in prices of diesel fuel, asphalt, cement, and sands.
