Abstract

In November 2021, the number of international visitor arrivals to Indonesia was 153,199, increased by 6.04 percent compared with November 2020. At the same time, international visitor arrivals in November 2021 increased by 3.06 percent compared with the previous month.
From January to November 2021, the number of international visitor arrivals was 1.48 million, decreased by 61.82 percent over the same period in 2020.
The room occupancy rate of classified hotels in November 2021 was 47.83 percent, up 7.69 percentage points from November 2020. Similarly, the room occupancy rate in November 2021 grew moderately by 2.21 percentage points compared with October 2021.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at classified hotels during November 2021 was 1.59 days, no difference from the average length of stay in November 2020.

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in November 2021 was 3.5 million people and increased by 19.81 percent when compared to October 2021. The number of international air transport passengers increased by 42.26 percent to 74.4 thousand people. During January–November 2021, the number of domestic air transport passengers was 26.1 million people and decreased by 9.26 percent. The number of international air transport passengers was 531.3 thousand people and decreased by 85.23 percent in comparison to the same period in 2020.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in November 2021 was recorded at 1.3 million people, increased by 5.43 percent when compared to October 2021. The amount of freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by 2.72 percent turned into 26.3 million tons. During January–November 2021, the number of domestic sea transport passengers reached 13.6 million people and increased by 5.71 percent in comparison to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, the amount of freight rose by 4.23 percent, reaching 287.1 million tons.
The number of railway passengers departing in November 2021 was 15.3 million people, which increased by 15.60 percent when compared to October 2021. Diffrerent from the number of passengers, freight transported by train decreased 7.69 percent to 4.8 million tons. The number of passengers reached 132.3 million people during January–November 2021, decreased by 23.33 percent when compared to the same period in 2020. On the other hand, the cumulative amount of freight transported by train rose by 11.10 percent into 49.0 million tons.
