Abstract

In November 2021, the National General Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) increased by 0.32 percent compared to October 2021 IHPB. The highest increase in the IHPB occurred in the Mining and Quarrying Sector by 1.09 percent.
Several commodities that experienced price increases in November 2021, including broiler eggs, palm oil, red chilies, coal, cooking oil, cement, and urea fertilizer.
The IHPB change in 2021 is 2.16 percent and the year-to-year IHPB change is 2.71 percent.
The IHPB for Building/Construction Materials in November 2021 rose by 0.54 percent compared to the previous month, partly due to the increase in commodity prices for iron concrete, cement, PVC pipes, steel roof trusses, and building construction iron.
