Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in July 2021 decreased by 10.77 percent compared to the number of visits in July the previous year. On the other hand, when compared to June 2021, the number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2021 increased by 1.25 percent.
Cumulatively (January-July 2021), the number of foreign tourist visits reached 937.75 thousand visits, a decrease of 71.42 percent when compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in the same period in 2020 which amounted to 3.28 million visits.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in Indonesia in July 2021 reached 22.38 percent or decreased by 5.69 points compared to the TPK in July 2020 which was recorded at 28.07 percent. When compared to the previous month, June 2021, the TPK in July 2021 also decreased by 16.17 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-class hotels during July 2021 reached 1.82 days, or an increase of 0.16 points when compared to July 2020 which was recorded at 1.66 days.

The number of rail freight goods in July 2021 rose 6.31 percent

Number of domestic air freight transportation departed in July 2021 as many as 995.4 thousand people or down 71.70 percent compared to June 2021. Total ferries destined for overseas (international) down 23.23 percent to 43.3 thousand people. During January–July 2021, the number of domestic passengers is 16.6 million people or down 15.44 percent, and the number of international passengers as many as 312.0 thousand people or decreased by 90.96 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
Number of domestic sea freight ferries departed in July 2021 recorded 1.1 million people or down 22.94 percent compared to June 2021. The number of goods transported down 0.71 percent to 26.2 million tons. During January-July 2021, the number of passengers reached 8.9 million people or an increase of 5.19 percent over the same period the same in 2020, while the number of goods transported rose 7.96 percent or reached 182.0 million tons.
Number of passengers of train departing in July 2021 as many as 5.7 million people or a decrease of 60.52 percent compared to June 2021. In contrast to the number of passengers, the number of goods transported by train has increased 6.31 percent to 4.9 million tons. During January–July 2021, the number of passengers reached 87.7 million people or down 28.56 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Hal different for the number of goods transported by train rose 7.43 percent to 29.6 million tons.
