Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in January 2021 decreased by 89.05 percent compared to January 2020, namely from 1.29 million visits to 141.26 thousand visits. When compared to December 2020, the number of foreign tourist visits in January 2021 decreased by 13.90 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Indonesia in January 2021 was recorded at 30.35 percent or decreased by 18.82 points compared to the ROR for January 2020 which reached 49.17 percent. When compared to the previous month, December 2020, the ROR for January 2021 also experienced a decline, namely by 10.44 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels during January 2021 reached 1.86 days, or a decrease of 0.02 points when compared to the average length of stay in January 2020.
