Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in September 2020 experienced a drastic decrease of 88.95 percent compared to the number of visits in September 2019. The same condition also occurred when compared to the previous month, August 2020, with a decrease of 5.94 percent. < / li>
Cumulatively (January – September 2020), the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia reached 3.56 million visits or decreased by 70.57 percent when compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in the same period in 2019 which totaled 12.10 million visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Indonesia in September 2020 reached an average of 32.12 percent or decreased by 21.40 points compared to the ROR for the same month in 2019 which was recorded at 53.52 percent. When compared to the ROR for August 2020, this month's ROR has also decreased by 0.81 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests in star-rated hotels during September 2020 was recorded at 1.73 days, a decrease of 0.11 points when compared to the situation in September 2019.
