Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The national NTP for October 2020 was 102.25, an increase of 0.58 percent over the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Paid by Farmers (It) rose by 0.81 percent, higher than the increase in Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.23 percent.
Nationally, NTP for January-October 2020 is 101.36 with an It value of 107.02 while Ib is 105.58.
In October 2020, NTP Kep. Bangka Belitung Province experienced the highest increase (2.49 percent) compared to the increase in NTP of other provinces. In contrast, Banten Province NTP experienced the largest decrease (1.13 percent) compared to the decrease in NTP of other provinces.
In October 2020 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Indonesia by 0.24 percent which was caused by an increase in the index in the ten expenditure groups.
The National Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2020 was 102.42, an increase of 0.66 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
The price of Harvested Dried Unhulled Rice at the Farmers Level increased by 1.53 percent and the Price of Premium Rice at the Mill decreased 0.92 percent
