Business Conditions in Quarter III-2019 Increased (ITB 105.33)

Abstract

Quarter III-2019 Business Tendency Index (ITB) of 105.33 shows that general business conditions continue to grow, although business optimism is lower than the previous quarter (ITB quarter II-2019 amounted to 108.81).

In quarter IV-2019 business conditions are expected to continue to grow, but with a lower level of optimism compared to quarter III-2019. The estimated value of ITB in the fourth quarter of 2019 was 104.79.

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) quarter III-2019 of 101.03. This shows that in general consumers feel an improvement in economic conditions in the third quarter of 2019, but with lower optimism compared to the previous quarter (ITK in the second quarter of 2019 amounted to 125.68).

Consumer economic conditions in quarter IV-2019 are expected to improve with a higher level of optimism compared to the previous quarter. The estimated ITK quarter IV-2019 is 103.80.
