Abstract

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or tourists to Indonesia in September 2019 has increased 2.15 percent compared to the number of visits in September 2018. Meanwhile, when compared with August 2019, the number of foreign tourists visiting in September 2019 has decreased by 10.10 percent. < / li>
Cumulatively (January – September2019), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 12.27 million visits, an increase of 2.63 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2018 which amounted to 11.96 million visits.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star classification hotels in Indonesia in September 2019 reached an average of 53.52 percent or down 5.43 points compared to the September 2018 TPK which was recorded at 58.95 percent. Likewise, when compared to the ROR for August 2019, the ROR for star-rated hotels in September 2019 decreased by 0.62 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star classification hotels during September 2019 was recorded at 1.84 days, a decrease of 0.13 points when compared to the situation in September 2018.
