The Daily Nominal Wage for National Farmers in August 2019 Increases by 0.22 Percent

Abstract

Nominal wage for workers / workers is the average daily wage received by workers as compensation for work done.

The real wage of the worker / worker represents the purchasing power of the income / wage received by the worker / worker.

The real wages of agricultural laborers are the ratio between the nominal wages of agricultural laborers and the rural household consumption index, while the real wages of construction workers are the comparison of the nominal wages of construction workers against the urban consumer price index.

The daily nominal wage of national farm workers in August 2019 rose by 0.22 percent compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in July 2019, from Rp54,237.00 to Rp54,354.00 per day. Meanwhile, the real wages of farm workers also increased by 0.13 percent.

The daily nominal wages of construction workers (non-foremen) in August 2019 rose 0.14 percent compared to July 2019 wages, from Rp88,939.00 to Rp89,063.00 per day. Real wages increased by 0.02 percent.
