February 2019: Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of 5.01 percent

Abstract

The number of workforce in February 2019 was 136.18 million, up 2.24 million compared to February 2018. In line with the increase in the number of the workforce, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased by 0.12 percentage points.

In the past year, unemployment has been reduced by 50 thousand people, in line with TPT which fell to 5.01 percent in February 2019. Judging from the level of education, TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) is still the highest among other education levels, which is 8.63 percent.
