Abstract

The number of foreign tourists or foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in July 2018 is up 12.10 percent compared to the number of visits in July 2017, from 1.37 million visits to 1.54 million visits. Similarly, when compared with June 2018, the number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2018 has increased by 16.57 percent.

Cumulatively (January-July 2018), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 9.06 million visits, up 12.92 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2017 which amounted to 8.03 million visits.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star classification hotels in Indonesia in July 2018 reached an average of 59.30 percent or up 1.78 points compared to July 2017 TPK which was recorded at 57.52 percent. Similarly, if compared to the June 2018 TPK, the hotel TPK star classification in July 2018 has increased by 7.26 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests in a star classification hotel during July 2018 was recorded at 1.73 days, a decrease of 0.16 points compared to the condition in July 2017.
