Abstract

  • The nominal wage of the worker / worker is the average daily wage received by the worker in return for the work that has been done.
  • The real wage of the worker / worker represents the purchasing power of the wage earned / received by the worker / worker.
  • Real wage is the ratio between nominal wage and household consumption index.
  • The daily nominal wage of national laborers in July 2018 rose by 0.34 percent compared to the wages of farm laborers in June 2018, from Rp 52,200.00 to Rp 52,379.00 per day. Real wages decreased by 0.48 percent.
  • The daily nominal wage of construction workers (non-foreman workers) in July 2018 rose 0.11 percent compared to June 2018 wages, from Rp 86,181.00 to Rp 86,276.00 per day. Real wages decreased by 0.17 percent.
