Abstract

The number of foreign tourist arrivals or foreign tourists to Indonesia in May 2018 rose 4.55 percent compared to the number of visits in May 2017, ie from 1.15 million visits to 1.20 million visits. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2018, the number of visits by foreign tourists in May 2018 decreased by 7.65 percent.
Cumulatively (January-May 2018), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 6.17 million visits or an increase of 11.89 percent compared with the number of foreign tourists visiting in the same period of 2017 which amounted to 5.51 million visits. li> The classification rate of star hotels in Indonesia in May 2018 reached an average of 53.86 percent or decreased by 2.21 points compared to the May 2010 figure of 56.07 percent. Likewise, if compared to the April 2018 ROR, the star hotel class CLK in May 2018 decreased by 3.57 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels classification during May 2018 was recorded at 1.84 days, a decrease of 0.15 points compared to May 2017.
