Abstract

• Production growth of large and medium manufacturing industries in quarter III-2017 increased by 5.51 percent (y-on-y) against the third quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to rising production of base metal industry, up 11.97 percent. Meanwhile, the industry that experienced the biggest decline in production was other processing industries, down 4.88 percent.

• Production growth of large and medium manufacturing industries in quarter III -2017 increased by 2.27 percent (q-to-q) in Q2 / 2017. The industry with the highest increase in production is the beverage industry, up 7.70 percent. While the industries that experienced the biggest decline were the pharmaceutical industry, chemical and traditional medicine products, down 1.12 percent.

• Growth in the production of large and moderate manufacturing industries in Q3 / 2017 (y-on-y) in the provincial level with the highest growth was Lampung Province, up 22.52 percent. While the province that experienced a decline in growth is the province of Aceh, down 16.15 percent.

• Production growth of large and medium manufacturing industries in Q3 / 2017 (q-to-q) at the provincial level with the highest growth was Lampung Province, up 17.86 percent. While the province that experienced a decline in growth is the province of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, down 6.19 percent.

• Production growth of micro and small manufacturing industries in quarter III-2017 increased by 5.34 percent (y-on-y) against the third quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to rising production of computer industry, electronics and optical goods, up 35.99 percent. Meanwhile, the industry that experienced the biggest decline in production was the tobacco processing industry, down 21.92 percent.

• Production growth of micro and small manufacturing industries in quarter III-2017 increased by 0.66 percent (q-to-q) in Q2 / 2017. The industries that experienced the highest increase in production were chemicals and chemicals, up 16.67 percent. While the industry that experienced the biggest decline was the machinery and equipment industry which is not included in other, down 26.05 percent.

• Production growth of small and micro manufacturing industry in quarter III-2017 (y-on-y) at provincial level with the highest growth was Central Kalimantan Province, up 31.41 percent. While the province that experienced a decline in growth is the Province of West Sumatra, down 6.24 percent.

• Production growth of small and small manufacturing industries in quarter III-2017 (q-to-q) at provincial level with the highest growth was West Papua Province, up 25.27 percent. While the province that experienced a decline in growth is the province of North Kalimantan, down 7.35 percent.
