Abstract

The number of tourist arrivals (tourists) to Indonesia in October 2015 reached 825.8 thousand visits, increase 2.11 percent compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in October 2014 that there were 808.8 thousand visits. Similarly, when compared with September 2015, the number of foreign tourist visits in October 2015 decrease 4.99 percent.
The number of foreign tourists visiting through Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali in October 2015 increase 8.12 percent compared to October 2014, from 339.2 thousand visits became 366.8 thousand visits. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2015, the number of foreign tourists visiting through Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali decrease 3.33 percent.
The cumulative (January to October) 2015, the number of foreign tourist visits reached 8.02 million visits, up 3.38 percent compared to foreign tourists visiting the same period the previous year, amounting to 7.76 million visits.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star in 27 provinces in October 2015 reached an average of 56.60 percent, increase 2.31 points compared to October 2014 Room Occupancy Rate was recorded at 54.29 percent. If compared to Room Occupancy Rate September 2015, Room Occupancy Rate star hotel in October 2015 increase 0.34 points.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian in star hotels in 27 provinces during October 2015 stood at 1.92 days, an decrease of 0.06 points, when compared to the state in october 2014.
