Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in July 2003 again exceeded value of US$ 5 billion, that was US$ 5.25 billion. Eventhough it slightly increased by 0.64 per cent over the last month figure, the increase was more significant, as high as 4.97 per cent, compared to the figure in July 2002. The cumulative value of Indonesian exports during January ? July 2003 still experienced an increase of 9.83 per cent over the same period in last year.
The value of Indonesian imports in July 2003 reached to US$ 2.54 billion, or rose by 4.56 per cent compared to the figure in June 2003 as high as US$ 2.43 billion. The cumulative imports figure during January ? July 2003 shown an increase of 11.70 per cent over the same period in year 2002, that was from US$ 16.60 billion to US$ 18.54 billion.
