Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia through 13 points of entry in February 2003 was recorded at 289.8 thousand people or rose by 3.73 per cent over the January 2003 figure at 279.4 thousand people. The number of foreign tourists visiting Bali particularly, in February 2003 shown an increase of 8.97 per cent, from 66.0 thousand people in January to 72.0 thouseand peopple in February 2003.
However, in cumulative figure, number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia through 13 points of entry up to February 2003 reached only 569.1 thousand people, which means decreasing 8.98 per cent, over January-February period in 2002 as high as 625.3 thousand people.
