GDP and The Economic Growth of Indonesia In 2002

Abstract

Based on GDP at 1993 constant prices, growth of Indonesian economy in year 2002 was 3.66 per cent, over the last year. This positive growth was experienced almost in all 9 sectors of economy, with the highest growth reached by sector of Transportation and Communication (7.83%), Electricity, Gas and Water supply (6.17%), then Finance, Ownership & Business Services (5.55%).
The value of GDP at current market prices in 2002 was 1,610.0 trillion rupiahs, while at 1993 constant prices the GDP was calculated at 426.7 trillion rupiahs.
