July 3, 2026 | Other Activities
Statistics Indonesia (BPS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy and supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment, has officially launched the Creative Economy Statistics while simultaneously initiating the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). The Creative Economy Statistics present key indicators encompassing the creative economy's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exports of creative economy goods, and employment absorption. Meanwhile, SE2026 will provide a comprehensive overview of business activities in Indonesia, serving as a foundation for more targeted planning, evaluation, and policy formulation.
Held in Jakarta on Monday (29/6), the event was attended by the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya; the Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti; and the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar. Representatives from various ministries, agencies, industry associations, and creative economy stakeholders were also in attendance. The proceedings were highlighted by the presentation of the Creative Economy Statistics Book and the signing of a vinyl record to symbolically mark the launch of SE2026.
