During her presentation, the Chief of BPS RI revealed that this data collection was conducted using a door-to-door method, which was comprehensive and covered the entire population in IKN, involving 856 officers. The data collection also utilized geotagging technology, enabling it to accurately map socio-economic conditions and housing conditions to ensure that development was on target.
The Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas expressed his appreciation for the synergy that has been built and mentioning the 2025 PPIKN data as the main foundation for development planning in IKN. This data collaboration is expected to accelerate IKN transformation to become an inclusive world city, supported by large potential of the demographic bonus that has been validly captured.
The Head of OIKN welcomed these data collection results as a sign that the development of IKN has reached a point of no return. Basuki also announced further strategic steps with BPS, namely implementation of the Economic Census and groundbreaking ceremony of the first stone for the BPS Office in IKN, which will begin in January.
