Inauguration of BPS Office of Surabaya City

Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, Rachmat Pambudy, together with Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, officially inaugurated the new office building of BPS Office of Surabaya City. On this occasion, Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) expressed her gratitude to all parties involved in the completion of the new office, as well as those who have consistently supported BPS in delivering accurate and high-quality data, including Bappenas, local governments, and all relevant stakeholders.

In his remarks, Minister Rachmat Pambudy emphasized the crucial role of data in contributing to national development. Therefore, BPS plays a vital role in ensuring data quality, which is essential for effectively supporting national development. He further affirmed his full support for BPS in fulfilling its mandate to provide accurate and reliable data.
