Imam Machdi Appointed as Princial Secretary of BPS

Imam Machdi has been officially appointed as the Principam Secretary of BPS-Statistics In during a ceremony held at the 10th floor of Building 1, BPS headquarters, on August 15th. The oath-taking ceremony was led by Acting Chief Statistician of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, who also inaugurated other senior officials, administrators, and supervisors within the agency.

Previously serving as the Deputy Chief Statistician for Methodology and Statistical Information at BPS, Imam Machdi has now taken on the role of Principal Secretary. In her remarks, Amalia highlighted the strategic importance of the Principal Secretary's position, describing it as the driving force behind ensuring the achievement of BPS's vision and mission, particularly in terms of organizational transformation and overseeing the implementation of planned policies and programs.

Amalia also used the occasion to inaugurate the new Head of BPS Bangli Regency and the Head of the Protocol Subdivision in the Public Relations and Legal Bureau.
