BPS Satker Receives WBK / WBBM Appreciation

Jakarta - Three satker, namely BPS of Southeast Sulawesi Province (Southeast Sulawesi), BPS of Kendari City, and BPS of Lamandau Regency in Central Kalimantan received appreciation from WBK predicate. BPS Representatives namely the Main Inspector, Akhmad Jaelani, Deputy for Statistical Methodology and Information, M. Ari Nugraha along with the head of the Satker with WBK predicate were present at Birawa Assembly Hall, Jakarta Bidakara Hotel in the Appreciation and Awarding of the Integrity Zone Towards WBK / WBBM 2019. Appreciation was handed over by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform (PAN-RB), Tjahjo Kumolo who was also attended directly by the Vice President, Ma'ruf Amin (10/12).

A few months ago (10/10), as many as 31 work units (satker) in BPS were nominated as Work Units towards Corruption Free Areas (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Areas (WBBM). The activity (at Marc Hotel) was immediately observed by a team of evaluators from Kemenpan-RB.

It is not easy to go to the WBK working unit, it must go through various stages. Every year there is an evaluation. The first evaluation is carried out by the BPS inspectorate, then sent to Kemenpan-RB. After participating in the exhibition at Marc Hotel, the satker nominated filled out the completed Evaluation Worksheet (LKE). The LKE entry covers six 6 pillars of change management. The six pillars are the area of ​​change management, governance, management of human resource management systems, strengthening accountability, strengthening supervision, and improving the quality of public services.

The day before, Deputy for Bureaucracy Reform, Accountability Apparatus and Supervision of the PANRB Ministry, M. Yusuf Ateh, explained that to accelerate the achievement of the target results, the Integrity Zone was built as a symbol of commitment to implement the reform of bureaucracy in each work unit. Every work unit that successfully builds ZI will become a role model for other work units to go to WBK / WBBM. "The moment of this International Anti-Corruption Day must be able to be a trigger for all Government Agencies to take concrete, systematic and sustainable Action to Prevent and Eradicate Corruption through the implementation of a bureaucratic reform program that has been established in the Grand Design of the National Bureaucratic Reform 2010-2025,"

The achievements of the regional BPS satker motivated the other BPS working units to continue their efforts to improve performance so that more satker with WBK predicate. While those who are predicated on WBK can improve to achieve WBBM achievements.
