Jakarta - The government continues to strive to provide quality public services by utilizing technological advancements. One of the services is the Population Administration service (adminduk).

The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched the Independent Dukcapil Pavilion (ADM), an administrative revolution that transforms all thoughts, devices, and human resources into a machine whose system is similar to an ATM machine. This breakthrough is also an effort to support Perpres No. 19 of 2019 concerning one data.

"This ADM makes citizens print various identity cards issued by Dukcapil independently, ADM can print ID cards, birth certificates, death certificates, family cards, and others much easier and in just minutes," said I Gede Suratha , Secretary of the Director General of Dukcapil Ministry of Home Affairs at the Media Merdeka Barat 9 (FMB9) discussion event that took place in Building C, 3rd floor of the Ministry of Home Affairs, (5/12).

The routine event held every year apart from the Ministry of Home Affairs also presents Deputy BPS Social Statistics, Margo Yuwono as one of the speakers and media partners as participants.

"We also don't want to be outdone by Dukcapil, in 2020 we will also conduct an online-based Population Census. BPS at the 7th Population Census uses data from Dukcapil as a database. In the previous census, BPS officials brought a blank questionnaire when door to door "Now BPS officials use a questionnaire based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Dukcapil. So that later the officer will check whether there are developments in the condition of residents based on the latest Dukcapil data," said Margo Yuwono.

"Later the results of this Population Census will lead to the Indonesian Data One," he explained. The 2020 Population Census is divided into two stages. The first stage, using the Online Population Census pattern, is carried out mid February 2020-end March 2020 by updating the personal data of family members. The second phase, in July 2019, a house-to-house census was taken for those who had not yet participated in the online population census.
