Construction
construction is an activity to build building/construction that are unseparately with their location. The construction can be used for residence or other purposes. The result of construction activities such as building construction, road, bridge, railway, and bridgeway, tunnel subway, viaduct and drainage, sanitary construction, dams, electricity generate building, distribution, transmission and communication network construction. Construction activities included planning, preparation, execution, demolition, and repairment of buildings and other constructions.
General Contractors
General contractors are establishment engaged in field of construction, alternation/reconstruction, repairment and demolition of buildings, highways, streets, culverts, sewers, waterlines, railway roadbeds, railroads, harbours, tumuls, subways, elevated highways, bridges, viaducts, dams, drainage projects, sanitation projects, aquaducts, irrigation projects, hydro electric plants, hydro electric projects, gas mains, pipe lines as well as other types of heavy construction : marine construction such as digging, under water rock removal, pile driving, land draining, and reclamation, construction of harbor and waterways, water wheels, airports, athletic fields, golf courts, swimming pools, tennis courts, parking areas, communication systems such as preparation and construction of mining area, drilling for oil and natural gas recources
Special Trade Contractors
Special trade contractors were the firm engaged in special construction representing a part of a construction project on sub contract from the main contractor or on a direct contract with the owner. This type of contractors were exclusively undertaking installations of air conditioner or heater, setting stones/bricks, tiles, marbles, decorations, doors, windows, floor, decorating, electric installations, sanitary facilities, water resource drilling, foundation laying, repairment and maintenance of houses, etc.
Firm/Establishment
establishment is an economic activity unit to provide goods or service in a phisical building, possessing cost structure and production record keeping about it's production and cost structure, and ha one or more enterpreneur who responsible to the risk. Type of legality of construction establishment could be in non-profit organization, cooperative association, partnership, government's company (local and national), and private company.
Kind of Construction Works
1. Site preparation
  This classification of works include demolition or wrecking of building and other structures, clearing of building sites from demolished structure. Blasting, test drilling, landfill, levelling, earth moving, land drainage and others land preparation. Preparation of oil and gas field such as coal mining are excluded from this classification.
2. General Construction
  General construction include special civil construction for building and non building construction.
  1. Civil Construction Special for Building
    include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate of dwelling, educational building, worship building, healthy centre, office building, hotel, shopping centr, industrial centre/manufacturing, bus station, sport center, art and cultural center, warehousing, aeroplane garage, and others.
  2. Civil construction non building, consist of :
    1. Street, Bridge and Airfield Construction :
      are activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate of street, bridge and airfield. also include all airfield facilities such as barrier wall, side street for walker, traffic mark on street
    2. Railway and Railbridge Construction :
      include all activities to build, maintain, and rehabilitate of rail way, rail bridge and railhighway.
    3. Tunnel Construction :
      include all activities to build, maintain, and rehabilitate of underground tunnel, mountains tunnel and underwater tunnel.
    4. Irrigation system construction
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate of dam, reservoir, irrigation network, viaduct, dsb
    5. Water sewerage system :
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of tapper construction and water transmission, prime water processing, prime water tower, and water reservoir, transmission and distribution network, and pure water tank, waste water duct in toen, housing drainage, pump construction, retention basin.
    6. Oil and gas processing, distributing, collecting and saving
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitateof oil and gas processing construction, also include oil and gas tapping, transmission, refinery construction, oil, and gas reservoir processing construction, oil and gas reservoir processing construction, and oil and gas tank.
    7. Dredging
      include activities to dredge river, swamp, pool, water trip traffic, and harbour canal with small, medium or big scale working
    8. Harbour Construction :
      inclue all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate other civil construction that not yet mentioned in this class decription above such as sport filed, dwelling envi-ronment (out of building), parking area, etc.
  3. Electrical and Telecommunication
    Electrical and Telecommunication activities include :
    1. Electrical Construction :
      include activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of electric power working, high voltage transmission and distribution, warehouse of centre electric system, electric, pile instalation, electric construction of train transportation, meteorology and geophysic.
    2. Telecomunication construction, sea navigation and river traffic light :
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of tower, rubber canoe, harbour and other equipment of signal light.
    3. Search and Rescue Equipment and Navigation Telecommunictaion :
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of radar transmition antenna construction, etc.
    4. Train and Signal Telecommunication :
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of signal construction and train telecommunication.
    5. Telecommunication Centre :
      include all activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of central telephone and telegraph, radar transmition, town construction, microwave, small station satellite on earth.
    6. Other Electrical and Telecommunication Construction :
      include activities to build, maintain and rehabilitate all kind of other electrical and other telecommunications.
  4. Special Trade Construction
    Special construction activities contain :
    1. Foundation and Pile Construction :
      include activities to install any kind of foundation and pile for building, street and bridge, harbour and irrigation system.
    2. Artesian well work :
      include construction activities to get artesian in small scale working, medium scale working or big scale working and high preasurement.
    3. Steiger Installation :
      include all activities to install roof on dwellinmg and non residential building.
    4. Roof Installation :
      include all activities to install roof on dwelling and non residential building.
    5. Prefab Construction and Steel Frame Work Installation :
      include all activities to install prefab construction and steel frame work.
    6. Other Special Construction :
      include all activities installing other construction that not mentioned above.
    7. Building Installation :
      activities to install, maintain, and rehabilitate building installation. The activities include pure and waste water installation and drainage network; electrical installation include Air conditioning installation, gas installation, electronics installation, include electronical system, such as alarm system installation, television circuit, sound system; and mechanical installation such as elevator, escalator, conveyor, and automatic door.
    8. Civil Construction Installation :
      is activities to install, maintain and services all civil construction installation. This classification consist of street electrical installation, include installation on street, railway, and airport; river and sea navigation installation such as signal ligh tower, signal ligh equipments, rubber canoe signal ligh, harbour signal; meteorological and geophysical installation in small, medium or big scale; air navigation installation, such as air communication navigation construction, signal transmition, vation, slide approach, runway ligh, DVOR, ILS, NDB : signal installation and train telecomunication; signal installation and traffic light on street; telecommunical installation on central telephone and telegraph, radar transmition station, microwave, small satellite station, also include telecommunication network and transmition installation; and other civil construction installation that not yet mentioned above.
    9. Civil Construction Finishing
      is activities to finish civil construction that leaved any kind of work has almost completed, such as glass and aluminium installation; floor works, wall works, ceiling and sanitary equipments work; building painting or other construction work decoration and interior design; gardens and exterior work; and any kind that not yet mentioned above.
  5. Renting of Construction Equipment
    is activities to rent any equipment with operators such as lorry crane, molen, buldozer, concrete mixer, drilling machine. Any kind equipments that rented without operator exclude this claasification.
3. Worker
  1. Worker
    is any person at the time of enumeration is working in any establishment including both paid and unpaid worker.
  2. Paid worker
    is any workers that receiving wage and salary and any other allowance both in goods or money. This workers include permanent employee and part time field worker.
    Part time field worker are any workers which don't have relationship to the establishment. They work during the projects and don't have any relationship any more if the project over. It's mean that if the project had finished, they automatically quit from the company.
  3. Unpaid worker
    is any workers that works one third to full time basis without any compensations including the owner and his family. Worker works less than one third of normal working time left out.
  4. Technical Worker
    is any worker who works directly in the construction field or has a direct relation with a construction activity; such as supervisor, equipment operator, measure specialist, drawer, construction planner.
  5. Non technical worker
    is any workers except technical worker, such as administration worker, accountant, receptionist, secretary, typist, etc.
4. Construction Value
  Construction value is value of work completed by contractor based on the letter of contract or letter of command between the owner and the contractor in the fixed time and total fixed cost.
5. Fixed Capital
  Fixed capital good is capital good which is owned and used to support establishment activity. The capital is namely : land, roads, bridges, buildings, machine with its equipment vehicles and other capital good which is used more than one year.
6. Project Equipment Authorized
  Equipments authorized means that all of machines and equipments under authority of the establishment both possessive by own or other's. Not include the machines or equipments lent to others.
